Welcome to my part of the Thoughts & Images™ site. This is my first post because I was waiting for Dad to get some of the kinks worked out. Now we have our separate sites as part of the main site and we can each blog and share photos. I think this is a fabulous bonding activity for my dad and I to do together. We both love computers and photography and this allows us to mesh those two things together. My dad is certainly a better photographer than I am, but he should be – he’s been at it a lot longer than I have. I mean, I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember, but I only really got into photography after college and then became more serious about it in 2010 when my dad gave me his old Nikon D200 to use. I absolutely love this camera and I am very much looking forward to learning all of its capabilities.

As you’ll probably see, I’m a lot more wordy than my dad. I’ve always felt the need to write.  This website (and my other personal website) will be my outlets. I think I may make this site more about my photography than anything else and make my other personal site about everything else. That way, I’m not overlapping too much and it gives me an excuse to be extra creative. Not than I need an excuse to be creative, but still.

So my dad has been working on a 365 Project since January 1st. I’ve been working on one since October 20th (my 31st birthday). I had been posting the photos on my other website until I got my iPhone in November, and since then I’ve been using the Photo365 app to do my project. I haven’t decided if I want to start posting those photos here, or if I want to do something different. I’ll figure it out. There’s certainly no rush to decide.
